The North East Educational Foundation is a non-profit charitable corporation, 501(c)3 under the Federal IRS code, founded in Fall, 1985. Its purpose is to seek, cultivate and obtain revenues to be used for developing and expanding educational opportunities for students of the North East Independent School District. The Foundation raises funds to provide educational enrichment projects and programs that, because of budget constraints, cannot be covered in the regular district budget.
